Busettii Warranty Issue

The seller of these Busettii bikes do not honor the warranty. I have tried for over 3 months to reach the seller(Alen).My bike is 4 months old and I can not ride it because something is wrong with the battery. Alen will not return my calls or e-mails. DO NOT BUY BUSETTI electric bicycles.

I became a dealer in Cailf. based on his lame of 3 year warranty
and that the bikes are made in USA.
It turns out it was all lies, he did not even stand by the warranty to his dealer!
Alan lies and I think he is also possibly mentally ill.
Stay away from him and Busetti, he simply sells cheep Chinese bikes and says they are made in USA.
If any of it were true he would show photos of his factory.
He doesn't because his only employee is his Chinese wife,
and he hides out behind a strip mall in a building with no name on it. How do I know , I tracked him by google earth.
His brother and sister are also part of the scam.
I hope someone gets to him.
I told the att. general about him and they think he is to small to spend their time on, so he continues to swindle his victims.

Busettii waranty

I purchase a brand new battery from Busettii about 6 months ago. After finally receiving the battery, It was a round battery model which did not fit into my battery rack properly as I was told it would by Allen.(not what I ordered) After finally rigging it so it would work but I could not remove it for charging practically(had to zip tie it down) or secure it from theft, the battery went bad shortly after. So I returned it and was finally sent a proper(rectangle shape not round) replacement battery that fit into my battery rack as it should mostly(slightly smaller than original). So I was ok with that till my Battery died about 4 months later. After over a month of trying to contact Allen, He finally contacted me back by e-mail and had me send my battery to the apparently
"New Repair Center in Florida". (see below)
The Busettii web site states that it will be replaced/repaired/sent out within 3 day. What a sad joke. As you can imagine, here I am over two months later and No battery replacement? Allen will not answer his phone or respond to e-mails?
... In past dealings with Allen ...
Last time I spoke to him over the phone he very rudely accused me of "tying up his phone line", Very bizarre? I guess one should not call a business phone twice to find out where the product that I own is? Then he rudely went on to accused me of fraud, saying I bought the battery on e-bay? (Hey Allen, check your records, I bought it from you! I even returned it in same box as it was shipped to me in). This guy is beyond baffling.
(Is Allen mentally stable?)
Note: It is extremely difficult to keep my language clean and my blood pressure down when talking about Allen and Busettii Bikes ... No wonder he bounced from Los Angeles to Michigan now to Florida ... Where you gonna run and hide next Allen?
I also had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Michigan in order for him to honor his warranty for my old original battery, Only after receiving the complaint did Allen sort-of honor the warranty only if I would dismiss the complaint, so then he send me a well used battery claiming the battery warranty was prorated. That is not what the warranty info states on the web site. Shortly after it died also, Surprise! Not! so I had to purchase a new battery thinking I would get a few years out of it ... NOT!(see above)
I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Florida now ... My advice to everyone ... Avoid Busettii Bikes at all cost!

I have a process server attempting to locate this companies location to serve papers for court but the 2 addresses on web are for a po box and a ups drop off station. I think this company is fake for a Chinese made bikes and his business is a sham. If there is anyone who knows how to get address to business please post. Alan Partee is a thief and liar and needs to be stopped. I send back a cheap bike that he charged me 2650.00 after having for 3 weeks and now its 5 months and this guy have failed to send me my refund and even attempted to lie that he wanted to send money back but I refused. Just another lie. He informed me that I would have to take him to court if I want my money back. I contacted Michigan Attorney general to resolve this situation and again he lied and attorney general only have the 2 addresses on line.

Looking for address to serve court papers to Alan Partee from Busettii. Don't believe him bike was send back 3 weeks after purchased because bike haad too many problems. I have to take this company to court to get my refund then I will be suing for slander since he want to lie and say I crashed the bike before semding back. Then he want to lie and say I refused the refund but it will all come out in court. People if you want to but a good electric bike and get good service you should look up Greenpath ebikes and ask for Johnathan very good quality bikes or prodecotech another great company and my new ebike comes from currietech with real costumer service. Alan Partee is a bad business owner and I will post all me emails with this company after I get him in court. Stay away from Busettii electric bikes believe want the people write in their reviews I learned the hard way but I will prevail.

Bussetti Battery Charger

Bussetti does not stand behind their products. I had my 48 volt Bussetti bike for about a year. My battery charger quit charging. Alan told me to send it back and he will replace it free of charge. I did so 3 months ago and he still has not sent me a new charger. Claimed he would several times and now he has quit taking my calls or responding to my emails. By now my battery is probably bad as well. Alan owes me a new charger and battery, because I have a $1600 bike now that is totally useless.

Now this company want to say I crashed this bike. I see this company attempting to fabricate the matter. I had bike for 3 weeks with several problems never crash bike and bike was photographed before shipped back don't allow this company to tell you this story. I am going through the same situation. I brought the bike in july sent it back 3 weeks later confirmed with CEO Allen Partee that he received the bike back but now it's over 3 months and I still have not gotten my refund yet. I contacted BBB,Alliance, Attorney general in New York and MI and they continue to avoid refunding my money. First he said I did not fill out the paperwork yet I was not given any paperwork to fill out I was just told I would have to pay to ship back then he said I sent back to wrong address yet fed ex delivered and had it signed for then he said the bike was destroyed when shipped back because of bad packing I packed into the same box it was shipped to me in, then he said the bike had wires hanging everywhere I sent pic to show the bike was sent back as delivered then they told Attorney General they sent me paperwork to fill out by mail yet I never received the paperwork lol guessing they said it munt have gotten lost in the mail, He could have emailed the paperwork to me better yet just sent me back my refund.. I paid 2650.00 for this bike yet this company failed to refund my money. I was fooled by CEO Alan who assured me that the reviews on Amazon was not represented by the company and I believed him now here it is going on 4 months and still no refund just constantly falsifying information to the Attorney general but it will come to end soon. I brought bike because he gave me the bike for reduce price of 2650.00 instead of 3350.00 If I paid by check or money order instead of paypal and that's what I did. The reason he did that is because if you pay by Paypal I would have got my money back as soon as fed ex informed me the bike was delivered back. that's why his rating is good on ebay because he have no choice but to return refund as warranty stated. Now he do not answer email when inquiring about my refund and I guess he feel because I'm in new York he can just keep ignoring me and it will all go away.

Hey guys your posts are enlightening, I have issues with my controller on by Busettii kit. The data going to the SLCD2 is incorrect, I tried programing it by holding the up/down arrows and then scrolling through the menu, but it got stuck on the pedal assist,which I do not have hooked up. I didn't get a manual or any relevant information with the kit so I am trying to find-out who makes the controller because I have no power now, any ideas? Funny thing is that the sticker says its an Infinion controller, but the only controller company I can find with a similar name is Infineon which is a huge manufacturer of Controllers, but I reached out to them and their puzzled, any assistance you could provide would be appreciated, still waiting on Alan to send me the manual.

Bafang kit performs fine, but Alan is does not

I am head mechanic and manager at a shop that sells lots of electric bikes, converts bikes to electric and diagnoses/fixes electric bikes of all brands. The Bafang mid drive kit performs well, Alan even sent us a new charger when the old one stopped working properly. We did have to rewire the battery as there was small gauge wire used and lame bullet connectors where there should have been high power connectors. The only reason everything is working well is because we performed a whole once over on the kit. Alan has so far answered all calls, but clearly has no real knowledge of electric kits when I speak to him about technical info. I know for a fact that none of the product he sells is made by him, he is a Chinese product importer, so naturally anyone who buys from him is takin a chance just like buying direct from China. He could be more professional but he is not necessarily selling anything shittier than the next Chinese importer. We probably won't be buying from him again as Lectric Cycles in Arizona sells the same Bafang mid drive kit and seems be more professional.

I am Keith Dager in Los Angeles. I bought an e-bike from Allen Partee around 2010. That was it. I am not in business with him. I do not endorse or represent his business. Some people were told by him or on a web site I am his partner. That was never the case. I was only a one time customer. He apparently uses a photo of us together when I bought my bike. I never authorized the use of my photo. Again, I am not and was never invested in, partnered with or paid to be an advisor or endorser of his business. Any representation by him of such involvement is false. Please do not threaten me with law suits and retribution over your unhappiness with him or his bikes.

Busetti Overpriced Junk

Purchased two kits from Allen. These kits come from China, 8fun motors. He will not stand behind any of his products. Less than one year, both motors dead. Battery dead, controller ...maybe still works since it has not been used for any length of time.

Shop around. You can buy the same kits he is selling for less than half of what he is selling them for. He does not stand behind anything he sells.

Most of the Busettii 5 stars come from the parts and acsesorys,
not the bikes.
I was a recent dealer = 6 months ago and he would not replace the three batts I sent him!
Stay away.
As the other post says before sending money ask Alan P. for pics of his factory, after 11 moths he sent nothing because, it is all BS.
Google Busettii warranty issues and read lots of posts. Alan told me that the neg. post were planted by the Chinese and I believed him,
untill it was too late.
As to the man from Tenn. , yes some of the bikes do perform well
and sometimes he honors his warranty but mostly not.

I have been riding 2 Busettii e-bikes for 3 years one is mine and is my wife's. The battery has been very strong , the motor climbs hills great even though I weigh 280 lbs. I tried many other e-bikes but they could not handle my weight or these big hills. Beware that Lots of Rival brands write fake bad reviews about many of the up and coming US brands. They are worried about the newer and better technologies. Go to a site like Ebay where they only allow REAL owners of a product to write feedback and reviews.
On Ebay Busettii has well over 200 5 star perfect feedback ratings and reviews. Ebay is only allowing the real buyers to poat there.
Its a shame that a great US company like buseettii is getting spammed like this.

I had this misfortune to believe the owner of Busettii claims and on January 2014 became the biggest dealer the company ever had.
What swayed me was the # year warenty and the claim that the battery, motor, controller and wheels were all made in Michigan.
Alan, the owner is the biggest lier I have ever known. He did not honer the after 2 months! He promised to provide verification on his factory, but never did. While working on the bikes I looked inside the controller and motor and found nothing but Chinese
names. If he actually was a real manufacturer it should have been easy to supply photos and other documentation. The reason he can not do that is because he is a one man show, no one else ever answered the phone but him. When he delivered the bikes to my store in Santa Barbara I called his number for 3 days with no answer.
That is because he answers the phone and his Chinese wife prepares the bikes for shipment but will not answer the phone.
He told me his brother runs the battery side of the business. If you google earth their address you see an old house in the country, the same is true for Busettii. He gives his home address on the website as the business address. If anyone wants to join me in getting the word out on this crook, google We Bike Electric in Santa Barbara, Cailf. email me [Larry] or call.

Alan is a criminal

Alan and the shell scam company Busetti are criminals. I spent $2,600 on the Vortex and after 20 calls and lies, they NEVER responded with all the old, broken, garbage parts. The Hub is trashed inside, the shifter was 7 years old, the tires had leaks, the battery case was cracked, it was scratched-up, the Nexus shifter was broken, it had no front fender, and the motor was over 4 years old. They sold me an old, beat-up bike that 3 bike mechanics said was fraud and garbage. Alan NEVER called me back or replaced the bike or ANYTHING. They have a Michigan address and Alan's phone number is in Pasadena CA. I am pursuing civil and criminal complaints because this was interstate and Internet fraud. I will visit MANY bike shows and plan to stop in Michigan to find them while I am in Chicago.

If anyone knows Alan's business or other address to have him and his company served with legal docs, please post.

Motor is good and battery is good.

I have tested lots of e-bikes and Busettii has the best motor and battery so far. That is why you see rival companies bashing Busettii and making up spam because USA Busettii is a real threat to their Chinese made bikes. ---Why settle for weak 36 volt 10 ah when you can have 52 volt 15 ah battery and motor ? Busettii has geared motors and Deep cycle lithium , the Chinese do not. Really sad that fake reviews are smearing such a great bike just because its made in the USA. Pete

I bought a busettii about 2 years ago , the battery would last about half as long as it did when new so I sent it in , alan sent me a used beat up battery that works worse than the one I sent in ! who does that ? read the REAL reviews , not the fake ones that tell of " great customer service" this guys a crook and he needs to be stopped ! Now my Busettii runs great.

Now that I got my Busettii bike running again I really love it ! All my friends at Huntington beach have many brands of e-bikes but mine goes so much faster and farther than most others. I just wish they would have fixed it for free after my crash. I can go about 45--48 miles on a charge unless I pedal, then I get about 60 miles. The top speed is about 26 mph. Larry

I think Alan does a good job of getting back to people in a proper amount of time. Remember crashing the bike or digging into the battery will void the warrenty. You can't crash your car and expect the dealership to replace the parts for free. People never say a word when their car is dinged up or any other issue they just pay for it.
